Amir Gojkić from the village of Đulići near Zvornik is successfully engaged in strawberry cultivation and sheep fattening. On an area of two dunams, he grows regular strawberry varieties, while he currently keeps about 50 sheep on his property. Although he has only been involved in these activities for a few years, his interest in agriculture has existed since childhood, when he gladly took part in picking wild strawberries and herding sheep.

Agriculture was not a tradition in his family — Amir is the first one who decided to take this step. In his work, he has significant support from his wife, and their children also help when needed. The business he runs represents his main source of income and provides his family with a stable and dignified life.

Amir proves every day that a love for nature can be a source of income, but also of inner peace. He finds the greatest satisfaction in the fact that he does a job he loves, which brings him peace and relief, and he likes to say that he has combined the pleasant with the useful. He believes that the key to success lies in constant work and persistence, regardless of the challenges that arise. He also believes and tells everyone that it is very important not to give up, because effort pays off over time.

An important step in the development of his business was the loan he received from the EKI Microcredit Foundation, which he used to finance the down payment for purchasing a tractor. Since then, he has remained loyal to EKI, recognizing it as a reliable partner in his business.

He sells his products locally, in the areas of Sapna and Zvornik, where he has already gained the trust of a large number of customers. Amir is an example that success in agriculture is not reserved only for those who continue a family business, but also for those who start it out of love and vision, with dedicated work and support from their closest ones.
