Success Stories of EKI Clients – Mile Vujasin
Mile Vujasin from the village of Božići, municipality of Kozarska Dubica, has been involved in dairy cow farming and milk sales for nearly seventeen years. He vividly remembers how humble and uncertain the beginnings were. Mr. Mile used to be engaged in pig farming, but due to low purchase prices, he decided to change his line of work. Pig farming was not providing the profit needed for a decent life for his family.
Although the transition to a new business was not easy, Mr. Mile had significant support from his family, which continues to assist him in the business. EKI played a crucial role in the growth and development of the livestock and the purchase of machinery, as the Vujasin household always relies on EKI when additional funds are needed for business investment.
Today, the Vujasin household's livestock counts over 30 heads, requiring hard work but resulting in good earnings as the ultimate outcome. Dedication to work, family unity, and the involvement of all household members in business operations are highlighted by Mr. Mile as the primary keys to success.
Regarding milk distribution, they have had a contracted purchase agreement with the state dairy since the beginning of their business. As a member of the EKI Business Club, Mr. Vujasin has not had the opportunity to engage in buying and selling products and services, but he says he always enjoys reading the content because of many interesting and useful articles.
