Success Stories of Clients – Zineta Nebić
Zineta Nebić from Bugojno is a true example of how combining a love for nature with dedicated work can create a successful and stable business story. Her journey began a few years ago when she decided to start raspberry cultivation on her own plantation. Although she comes from a family that has been engaged in agriculture for generations, Zineta is the first to focus her attention on raspberries – a fruit that attracted her with its simplicity of cultivation and the opportunity to quickly see the fruits of her labor.
From the very beginning, her focus has been on quality. Hand-picking, a natural approach, and dedication to each plant have made her raspberries highly sought after by both wholesale buyers and local customers, who recognize the special value of a homegrown product. Although raspberry cultivation is not the main source of income for her household, Zineta considers it an extremely important contribution to the family budget – especially during the season.
Her greatest support in work is her husband, and she sees the key to success in loving what you do and being persistent enough not to give up, even when it gets tough. She admits that there are many challenges, but believes that only those who are willing to learn and work patiently can enjoy the fruits of their labor.
In developing and improving her raspberry orchard, she also received great support through the financial services of the EKI Microcredit Foundation. The loans she took enabled her to purchase the necessary equipment and materials for further business growth.
EKI Business Club
Zineta regularly follows news and useful information from the field of agriculture, paying special attention to the free education provided through the EKI Business Club. She says: "As a farmer, I often read the EKI bulletin because it contains useful information about new methods and technologies in agriculture. The articles are very practical and easy to apply, and they are also full of tips that help me improve my business."
