Donation at the High School Center in Vogošća

The High School Center in Vogošća was founded and started operating in the 1979/80 academic year and since then this School has changed its name several times. Since 2009, the School has been operating under the name “Public Institution Secondary School Center Vogošća”. What has not changed during all that time is the fact that students are being educated for professional titles and occupations, such as: welder, car mechanic, tinsmith, mechanical technician, etc.

The school has a gym for physical education classes, but the equipment has been worn out, so its replacement was necessary. EKI, as a socially responsible company, recognized the needs of this institution and accordingly donated sports equipment and props needed for teaching process.

The school staff pointed out that they were very grateful to EKI for the donation and that this donation will help them greatly in facilitating better approach to their work. They hope to improve the quality of teaching process, because they believe that physical activities are very important for everyone, especially in adolescence. Some of their students also train in sports clubs, so improving their fitness is very important to them.
